Switch to an Air Source Heat Pump & Save Up to £7,500
Replace your old boiler with a modern, energy-efficient heat pump. We handle the government grant application, the installation, and everything in between.
Heating your home from the outside air
An air source heat pump extracts heat from the outdoor air — even when it's cold — and transfers it into your home to provide heating and hot water. Think of it as a fridge running in reverse.
Where a traditional gas boiler runs at around 90% efficiency, an air source heat pump typically operates at 300% efficiency. That means for every 1kWh of electricity it uses, it generates roughly 3kWh of heat.
Put simply, you get three times more heat for the energy you put in. That's a significant reduction in both your energy bills and your carbon footprint — and the system can last up to 20 years with minimal maintenance.
Heat pumps work with radiators, underfloor heating, and hot water cylinders — so they fit right into your existing home setup, or we can upgrade components as part of the installation.
Pair your heat pump with solar →Why homeowners are making the switch
Air source heat pumps aren't just better for the environment — they're better for your wallet, your home value, and your peace of mind.
Lower Energy Bills
Using 3x less energy than a gas boiler to produce the same heat means real savings on your monthly bills, especially as gas prices continue to rise.
Safer Than Gas
No combustion, no flue, no risk of carbon monoxide. Heat pumps are one of the safest ways to heat your home.
Minimal Maintenance
Unlike boilers that need annual servicing and frequent repairs, heat pumps need very little upkeep. An annual check is all it takes.
Increase Property Value
A modern heat pump improves your EPC rating, which can add thousands to your property's value and make it easier to sell or let.
Lower Carbon Footprint
Cut your home's heating emissions dramatically. Heat pumps produce zero direct emissions at the point of use.
Built to Last
With an expected lifespan of up to 20 years, your heat pump will keep heating your home long after a boiler would need replacing.
Government funding covers most of the cost
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a UK Government grant that takes thousands off the price of your installation — and we handle the entire application for you.
- ✓ Applied directly to your installation quote
- ✓ No upfront payment of the grant amount
- ✓ We apply on your behalf as your MCS installer
- ✓ Scheme runs until at least March 2028
- ✓ No income test — available to all eligible homeowners
- ✓ Average processing time around 4–8 weeks
Oil & LPG Homes — £9,000
If your home is off the gas grid and currently heated by oil or LPG, you could qualify for an increased grant of £9,000 — an extra £1,500 on top of the standard BUS amount. Available from July 2026 on new applications.
Combine with Solar — Maximum Savings
Pair your heat pump with a solar panel installation and power your heating with free electricity from your roof. We're one of the few installers who offer both services under one roof.
Who can apply for the BUS grant?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is open to most homeowners in England and Wales. Here's a quick breakdown of who qualifies.
✅ You're eligible if:
- ✓ You own your property in England or Wales (including landlords)
- ✓ You're replacing a fossil fuel heating system (gas, oil, or LPG boiler)
- ✓ You're replacing direct electric heating (storage heaters, etc.)
- ✓ Your property has a valid EPC issued within the last 10 years
- ✓ Installation is carried out by an MCS-certified installer (that's us)
- ✓ Small business owners with eligible premises also qualify
❌ Not eligible if:
- ✗ Your property is a new build
- ✗ The property is social housing
- ✗ You've already received a BUS grant at this property
- ✗ The property is in Scotland or Northern Ireland (separate schemes apply)
- ✗ Your EPC has outstanding loft or cavity wall insulation recommendations (unless exempt)
Four simple steps to your new heating system
We handle everything from the initial survey to the final commissioning — including all grant paperwork.
Solar + Heat Pump: the ultimate energy combination
Most installers offer one or the other. We do both — meaning you get a single company managing your entire renewable energy setup, with real savings you can measure.
Free Electricity
Solar panels generate free electricity during daylight hours. Use that electricity to run your heat pump and heat your home for practically nothing.
Battery Storage
Add a battery and store excess solar energy for the evening. Run your heat pump after dark without paying peak electricity rates.
Lowest Possible Bills
Customers who combine solar, battery, and a heat pump can reduce their total energy costs by up to 70–80% compared to a gas boiler with grid electricity.
